Nixle Alerts
The Stockton Police Department uses a service called Nixle to share information with subscribers. Nixle is a text messaging and email alert service that allows Law Enforcement to communicate with the public regarding events such as:
- Crime
- Fugitives
- Amber Alerts
- Watch Commander Reports
Watch Commander Reports detail significant calls-for-service from the previous day and night shifts. Some details, such as victims' names and locations, may be omitted to protect the identity of the parties involved and preserve the integrity of the investigation.
