Accepting Applications for Commissions Openings Department: Boards and Commissions

The City of Stockton is currently accepting applications for the Charter Review Advisory Commission and the City of Stockton appointment to the San Joaquin County Commission on Aging. These are volunteer positions, and all applicants must be registered to vote and live within the City limits of the City of Stockton throughout the term of service.

The deadline to submit applications is Monday, April 13, 2015, at 5:00 p.m.

The Charter Review Advisory Commission meets once a month and reports to the Ad-Hoc Charter Review Committee. The Commission is given a specific scope of work related to the City of Stockton Charter. Three positions are available. The term of service begins upon appointment by the City Council and extends through June 30, 2016.

San Joaquin County Commission on Aging meets once a month and addresses adult long-term care and issues of aging. This is a County Commission and this position is for the City of Stockton appointment. One position is available. The term of service is for three years.
