The Public Works Department has an active and extensive Capital Improvement Program (CIP) that relies almost exclusively on non-General Fund sources to fund projects. The purpose of this Program is to maintain, improve, and expand the City's infrastructure, and improve the safety of the public. Below are links for information on active capital projects that Public Works staff has or is currently managing. The project listing also provides, for each project, a project description, project cost, amount of grant funding, and current status.
One of our most important tasks is to ensure that the public is well informed. The Public Works Department uses various methods to provide information to the public such as press releases, informational flyers, project newsletters, and our City's website.
