Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste takes many forms, many of which we use every day. A simple household cleaner is toxic to plants and marine life when it appears in stormwater run-off. A compact fluorescent tube (CFL) can leak mercury, a highly toxic metal, into a play yard if accidentally broken. Many of our day to day actions affect our lives in ways we do not know about that is unless we take steps to learn more. The links to your left will help you to do the right thing. Remember...proper handling of hazardous wastes is good for you and your environment.
