Community Services Department 

The Community Services Department (located in Cesar Chavez Library) offers life-enriching programs, classes, and events.  

Join us at neighborhood and community parks, event facilities, golf courses, tennis centers, pool facilities, and recreation centers.

Services offered at the Cesar Chavez Central Library include:

  • boat passes,
  • fingerprint appointments,
  • picnic rentals,
  • Pixie Woods field trips, and
  • program registrations.

Pixie Woods Halloween Party 

Dress up for Pixie Woods Halloween celebration!  Join the Pixie Woods Halloween Party from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, at Pixie Woods Park.  FREE admission for children 12 and under dressed in costume.

 

Stribley Community Center Halloween Party 

Join the Halloween Party at the Stribley Community Center Thursday, October 30, 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. Enjoy carnival games, treats, prizes, a bounce house, and showing of the movie Hocus Pocus. This is a not-to-be-missed FREE event!

 

Sports - Seifert After School Program 

Join the outdoor and indoor sports activities at the Seifert Community Center after school, Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.  This is a free program for children ages 4-14.  Parents must complete a Seifert After School Program form prior to child's attendance.  

 

Fun for Fall Break 

The Arnold Rue Community is offering a Fall Day Camp for children ages 5-12 as a place to learn, play, and have fun during Fall 2014 school break (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)  Children can experience the rock climbing wall, story telling, arts and crafts, library, and sports time.  Fill out and return this Fall Day Camp Registration Form.
