The Community Services Department (located in Cesar Chavez Library) offers life-enriching programs, classes, and events at neighborhood and community parks, event facilities, golf courses, tennis centers, pool facilities, and recreation centers.

Movies at the Point
Enjoy a final summer evening with family and friends watching "Monsters University," part of the Movies at the Point. The next to last movie is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2014. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, snacks, and enjoy a FREE movie under the beautiful Delta stars! Gates open Webre Point Event Center at 6:30 pm, movies start at dusk! Spooktacular Movie Night and Coloring Contest
With Halloween just around the corner, the "Spooktacular" Movie Night wraps up Movies the Point. As part of this year's festivities, children ages 0-12 can enter our "Spooktacular" Halloween Coloring Contest. (Official rules can be viewed on the Movies at the Point page.)
In addition to the feature film on Friday, October 10, look for other activities for kids of all ages including a costume trick-or-treat parade, face painting, photo fun, games, and concessions.
Fun for Fall Break
The Arnold Rue Community is offering a Fall Day Camp for children ages 5-12 as a place to learn, play, and have fun during Fall 2014 school break (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) Children can experience the rock climbing wall, story telling, arts and crafts, library, and sports time. Fill out and return this Fall Day Camp Registration Form.
