Youth Speaks Through Dance

Yameci dance company presents the Youth Speaks Through Dance project. Three schools from the Stockton community, Cesar Chavez High School, Fremont Elementary and Acacia Middle School will present a short dance project on May 26th at the Tillie Lewis Theater at 6 p.m.

Young participants from these schools tell stories about their life and experiences in Stockton. They use this outspoken platform and layer it with creative movements. This dance project showcases Stockton's young talents who find ways to express themselves through spoken words and dance.

Do not miss this opportunity to support Stockton's youth. A special Tthank You to the Stockton Arts Commission, Al Mueller Niven Grant for making this possible. Additionally, many thanks to the SJDC Dance Division, Arts and Communication Division, ASDC and SDDC for your support.
