Discover Pixie Woods' enchanted forest and magical pathways for children of all ages! Be transformed by a world of imagination and wonder – create memories to last a lifetime. Pixie Woods came to life in 1954 through the generosity of local businesses, organizations and individuals. Over one million visitors from all 50 states and other countries have journeyed through its rainbow gates.
Opening Day Rescheduled for June 1, 2024
For 70 years, Pixie Woods has captivated children's imaginations with numerous play structures based on children's books, fairytales, and nursery rhymes.
The 2024 Pixie Woods Opening Day and 70th Birthday Party Celebration has been rescheduled to June 1, 2024. The festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. and the gates open at 10:00 a.m.
Seasonal Hours:
Open season is May through October. Closed November through April.

- Weekday General Admission - 2 years of age and older - $5

- Unlimited rides for 1 person - $9.
- Full season memberships are $70 (May-October)
- Half season memberships are $44 (August-October)

- No outside food or drinks are allowed except for cake or cupcakes. Please contact the Pixie Woods Yum Yum House at (209) 915-9834 to assist with any food planning. Leave a message for the quickest response.
Toad Stool Theater
- 2.5 hours for $420
- Refundable Deposit $150
- Cancellation Fee $100 - If canceled with less than 20 days notice.
Bring your students to experience the magic at Pixie Woods and schedule a guided field trip for your students.
- Field trip reservations are available Thursdays and Fridays beginning May 9; advance reservations are required.
- Scheduled school field trips are about 1.5 hours – starting at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- Discounted admission is available:

- School Field Trip General Admission, plus 3-Ride Package - $6
- Snacks are available for purchase from our concessionaire Yum Yum House; advance notice is required.

Celebrate Christmas in July! Santa will make a special summer appearance at the enchanted forest of Pixie Woods. Bring out your creativity at the arts and craft table and enjoy special entertainment.

Join the fun and celebrate with all your ghosts, goblins, prince and princesses at our annual Monster Mash Halloween Bash! Wear your favorite costume and enjoy a fall festival loaded with treats, magic shows, arts and crafts and a pumpkin giveaway (while supplies last-one per child 2-12 years old) and much more!
