Stockton Tourism Business Improvement District Advisory Board
Note: This Board is included in the City of Stockton's Conflict of Interest Code and members are required to disclose economic interests held within the jurisdiction of the Board/Commission, by completing a Statement of Economic Interests Form 700 when appointed, as required by the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) and the City of Stockton.

Financial interests are reportable only if located within or subject to the jurisdiction of the City of Stockton or if the business entity is doing business or planning to do business in the jurisdiction or has done business within the jurisdiction at any time during the two years prior to filing the statement.
Function:
Legal Authority:Advisory board established by City Council Ordinance No. 003-07, February 6, 2007.
Appointing Authority:Mayor with advice and consent of the City Council.
Term of Office:Four (4) years, subject to a two-term limit.
Membership:Seven (7) members: Three (3) members must own, operate or manage a lodging business within the City of Stockton; Four (4) at-large members.
Meeting Date/Location:To be determined by the Advisory Board Residency Requirements:Must be a resident of the City of Stockton.
Remuneration:None.
Minimum Qualifications:Three (3) members shall be an owner, operator or a management employee of a lodging business within the City of Stockton. Four (4) at-large members from the community.
