Meeting Date/Location:Meets the 1st Wednesday of the month (Exception: January meets 3rd Wednesday) Residency Requirements:Members must be residents of Stockton for at least 3 years

Minimum Qualifications:Employment as a professional visual artist and critic of contemporary visual art forums. Experience as an activist for the visual environment. Knowledge of and/or skills in public art; regional and national individual artists and their work; understanding of ethnic and gender diversity; and the Stockton Public Art Plan processes (available from the City Manager's Office or the Stockton Arts Commission) and its implications for the City.
Evidence of decision making ability; willingness to tolerate/promote change, experimentation, new artistic and design expressions; and community activities significant enough to confirm knowledge of issues and individuals within the community.
